- Hello All. I am curious to know why my Hard drive led indicator light
- faintly blinks whenever I am using my Iomega Zip drive. (SCSI device
- 5). If I am not using any SCSI peripheral, say my Zip drive is not
- powered on, I do not get this faintly blinking Hard drive led. Why
- does it blink and is there any way of stopping it short of turning off
- my Zip drive ? I am using an A3000 with a Commodore 3070 tape streamer
- and an Iomega Zip drive chained to the SCSI port. This causes no
- problems, I just find it a bit distracting. If its supposed to do
- this, say indicating activity on the scsi chain, I will be more
- accepting of the problem and find it less irritating.
-
- My Zip drive works great, except it seems a bit flakey in responding
- to the software eject button. Seems to take 3 or 4 clicks on the
- button to eject the disk. The disk eject button on the drive however
- works perfectly everytime. Any body else noticed this? I am using
- Squirrel ZipTools.
-
- Thanks for any responses or thoughts.
